It’s Your Gift

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

There’s someone out there who I’m writing to.

Kate Greenaway, The Child’s Monitor. 1883.

Someone who loves tarot, yearns to deepen their spiritual connection, and loses themselves in fictions and fantasies. Someone who craves something they can’t quite figure out. Is it you?

It’s not that the usual life goals aren’t important, they have their place, but your future feels overpowering and amorphous. You’ll know it when you’re living it.

In fact, sometimes all it is is a moment. A moment of visionary clarity. The recognition of a branching path. The exhilaration of discovery. The peace of presence. The cool murmur of crossing into mystery.

Kate Greenaway, The Elf Ring. 1905.

Simple solutions are boring blips. You crave complexity built in layers of light and shadow that veil and reveal in pulses of purpose. Being lost is learning and finding your way is fiction because the only reality is liminality and we don’t want to go there

just be there

just breathe there.

Sigh.

Then sidle along the edges and peer into progress which can only be process.

Do you want a process? The process of you?

Because I’ve discovered the hidden door into the matrix of creativity. The maze of manifestation. All while avoiding the tangent of tangibility.

The doors are hidden but not secret—you look at them every day. They unfold your future and mirror the misty and mystical.

Kate Greenaway, The Bubble. 1905.

And somewhere between disappointment and unfulfillment is a sunny scene of giving and receiving.

It’s your gift.

When you open it, what do you find?
